Learn Something New at Convention with Workshops and Hands-On Training

Where can you develop the skills to improve your school and community while having fun and networking with other PTA leaders and members from across the state? The 2018 California State PTA Annual Convention!

Convention workshops and table talks provide a great selection of hands-on learning and training opportunities that will not only enhance your skills as a leader, but also inform you on issues affecting children and families.

As your PTA unit prepares for a new year of officers, be sure to register your newly elected officers for convention. The training they will receive at convention will prepare them for their PTA position and jump start the school year!

THEME: “The world would be a better place…”

Join us on September 18th, as we explore the essence of Reflections.

  • How to plan, promote and implement Reflections at your school.
  • Hear about other successful programs.
  • Ask questions and/or share ideas.

Reflections is National PTA’s arts recognition and achievement program for students in grades PreK-12 to explore their creativity in literature, music composition, visual arts, photography, dance choreography, film production. We encourage your participation in this workshop to learn how to make this wonderful program thrive at your school.

Rules: All California State PTA rules apply to Tenth District entries.


Grade Divisions:

Primary Grades PreK – 2

Intermediate Grades 3 – 5

Middle/Junior Grades 6 – 9

Senior Grades 9 – 12

Special Artist All grades welcome


Each local PTA/PTSA may submit up to five (5) entries in the Primary, Intermediate, Special Artist divisions and up to eight (8) entries in the Middle/Junior and Senior divisions for each art category.

District Due Date: January 5, 2015
